Megan Southam began her career in 2002 as an EFDA in dental assisting. She trained under Dr. Craig Burtenshaw, Dr. Staley, Dr. Bryce Burtenshaw, and Dr. Summers for fourteen years at Family Dental Health Center in Idaho Falls. From there, she was asked by Dr. Craig Burtenshaw to help start another practice in Rexburg called Apple Tree Dental, where she worked for seven years.
Dr. Larsen and Dr. Sessions bought Apple Tree Dental in 2018. Megan worked for them as well, and then returned to the home office (Family Dental Health Center), where she is currently employed.
She’s always had a dream of teaching dental assisting and sharing her passion for her career, so for the last two years, she enjoyed instructing at the RADA; located in Apple Tree Dental.
She is now instructing for Hands On Dental Assisting, and looks forward to meeting you!
